To make your exchange, sell and buy experience as fun and productive as possible, we’ve put together some ground rules for you. LenDen help you exchange stuff locally, help build new connections in the community. Help us keep it that way by following a simple set of House Rules developed for (and by!) our members.
Pictures you upload Say it All
When you take a picture of something and post it for exchange or sale on LenDen, which becomes your promise to the community. The picture should show exactly what you are offering for exchange or sale — no more, no less.
It is your neighborhood marketplace
LenDen is your neighborhood marketplace that is all about quick and efficient interactions. We want you to feel comfortable communicating with each other, but please be careful about what you say in a public space, and to a relative stranger. With the Chat feature, we’ve made it possible for users to communicate entirely on the LenDen platform until you meet in person for the exchange.
Keep your Promises
You see something you think you want, you make an offer, and it’s accepted… but then you don’t want it anymore. As we all know, it happens. But consider the other buyers that were shut out of the deal, and the time the seller has spent interacting with you that is now wasted. Be positive that you are willing to see a deal all the way through before making an offer on an item. Those who exchange and sell using LenDen’s platform are members of your local community, and you may even know them already. Let’s make sure that we keep promises.
Help Each Other, Be Professional so that we all can be Happy
Once you find something is that is of interest and once you have an exchange or sale confirmed, make sure that you all meet in a safe (public places preferred) to complete the transaction— and take the time to run through a checklist to make sure everything is exactly what you want. Please note, once you exchange, it is going to be difficult to get it back. Let’s make sure that both parties are 100% happy before you walk away. Since LenDen is not going to be in the middle of this, it is up to you all to make sure that both parties are happy.
